Walking on well restored ancient paths through old pine and sweet chestnut forests, meadows and hidden valleys, our circuit tour ONDATremonti leads us in 6 days from the feet of the Monte Soprano (1062 metres) surpassing the Monte Vesole (1210) to the crest of the Montechianello (1319metres), keeping as close as possible to spectacular views of this truly stunning landscape with geological formations of former days and rare ancient natural architecture, such as rock-cut chappels (part of one day route with visit inside included) and masterpieces of mediaeval bridges crossing the splendid Calore River Canyon (one of our last stages). Our daily route requires between 3 and 5 hours of walking condition in the range of walking grade moderate to intermediate and leads us every day directly to another typical country house or inn, getting to know charming hosts, enjoying their delicious dinners with own specialties and overnight stayings. Individual booking of some more leisure days in this splendid area is possible.
